So, one of the old Italian ladies that I service said that there are 2 new Italian channels that are coming on air soon. Does anyone here have any details?

I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
She said there were advertisements on Rai Italia 3, that 2 new channels would be available in Aus and US, and as I don't understand Italian that was the only info I could get out of her.
Even though RAI is carried on Foxtel currently, they may still not carry any further channels when and if they do become available so you may have to ask what service she uses for RAI now.
Its always surprised me that Foxtel has never seemingly been interested in Ethnic programing as there has to be market surely.

I have heard the RAI Premium will be coming back to Australia
Any news on this topic from anyone?
I saw the ad on as5. From my understanding it was an ad for Worldmedia (MySat) which is on Intelsat 19 ku band.
So, the little old lady is starting to hassle me again, but for the life of me can't find which satellite these channels are on? She said they are running, but because of her broken English, I can't get any other information from her. Any ideas?
Given she is watching AS5 I would not think she is going to fork out a monthly sub. But let her know. I would chase the providers and ask them about there channels. They are RAI Italia 2 and Italia News 24

Hi all, my parents subscribe to WorldMedia (MySat) and they've just noticed they now get a new channel called Rai World Premium. Not sure when it started or if they're going to have to pay more in future. I would hope not given they've removed channels Leonardo and Yes Italia in the past.
I love Italian chammels

JK, I saw the ads on RAI 3 (Asiasat 5) and they are referring to the WorldMedia additions as stated. My mother was asking about these as well, but because she only has the FTA service my sister got her an AppleTV media streamer that connects to the internet (which mum has at home) by wifi (and/or ethernet). Now she can't stop surfing youtube on her HD TV, which has a surprisingly large collection of Italian content including full length movies.
Cheers
