you can find the entire 513 tiles in unprotected and calibrated OZFX3 files.
Unlike the recently created torrent by the "map pirate" these maps work!
Don't be fooled by the map pirate's releases, so far none has usable files in it!
If he provides working version I will update and offer the torrent, right now the above is the only available and WORKING Natmap collection, unless you prefer to create the map from the official Geoscience website.
The source files are available for free, so there should be no copyright issues as I only converted the files and provide an easier download.
Enjoy my latest release and don't get lost!

Thanks Downunder. In regards to 'map pirates' other torrents, are they any good, or are there problems with those as well?
Not sure as I only know of the Natpmap and some Festy maps he "presented".
But I spoke to the person dropping his links in the forums and he said to follow up the problems and fix them.
Not sure though how lange that might take.
This only happens when someone with no real knowledge does things without testing and checking the result.

I downloaded the torrents from 'map pirate' for those who are interested with the following results:
* NSW 1:25000 - Does not work. The files have all been renamed so won't work properly. Don't bother.
* NSW 1:100000 - Does not work. The files have all been renamed so won't work properly. Don't bother.
* AUS 1:250000 (Natmap) - Didn't download on advice received above, but likely the files are renamed so won't work.
* Hema 2012 - Good quality (best around). Worth downloading.
Downunder, mate your Natmap download is tops. Thanks. Can you confirm what year they relate to?
I uploaded a working version of the Natmap collection a few posts back, and they work.
There are also no borders and legends on the single map files, so you get a seemless map.
My Hema collection also has all files you might need, including the great desert tracks.
Even if the files from the map pirate would work you will still have to manully remove all borders and legends for a seemless navigation.
Shame really, considering the files are present at almost every torrent search engine and all the user gets after downloading is useless junk
But I guess this what happens if someone dumps files without checking, especially if the guy posting the crap does not bother to fix or delete the links.

Thanks for making the link and converted files available,, however I can't seem to view the files via that link anymore? Any chance of please putting them up again? My partner and I are about to cycle tour the east coast of Tassie, and I was after the 250K NATMAP files for it to run on Ozi and just stumbled across this forum. I wish there was somewhere to purchase the 100K maps but I cant find anywhere......
hi downunder
I can only see seven parts to your link not eight?
Hi Downunder35, I am having trouble finding the files too. I seem to get an endless string of popups then finally get to download a file called download.exe? Is that what I am supposed to see?
Hope this is not OT but i was wondering if there are any 25K maps for Vic in OZFX3 ?
Hi people,
I know it's an older topic now but the linksave.in link in this post no longer seems to work.
Is anyone able to post a new link?
TIA
Unless you specifically want OziExplorer, there are better and more user friendly option available now.
Perhaps why the thread is so dead
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
Hi, yes it was the OziExplorer format map files that I was after. I've been using OziExplorer for a while and like the cross platform nature of it... PC, WinCE and Android navigators.
Cheers
