OK...I'm dumb...how do you get vlc to play the links?

When I click 'em it says VLC can't recognize the input's format:

    Thanks

Try copying and pasting the link into VLC manually
Media > Open Network Stream > enter URL and hit play
Can take a while for the pics to come through depending on connection

I still get the same problem.

got the same version as you viewer
don't get any errors when pasting the link in manually but
links slow to open and stop/start here atm
took about 5 minutes before vlc would show pics
even the low def ones don't seem to open that well here
eurosports 1 seemed to be playing a promo loop most of the time

If I put this link in my browser

It automatically plays the stream via vlc

If I paste it into Media > Open Network Stream > enter URL and hit play...same old VLC is unable to open the MRL

    Hmmmmm

I''ll go back aan edit the original posting as the embedded urls are probably mucking things up.

    Just tested

works fine, CLT20 cricket is on

you can also change the url at the end to a lower speed such as 700 or 1000

    Thanks Craig,

Your 1st link produces the same result...VLC is unable to open the MRL

The 2nd link worked first time.

Maybe something still not quite right for me for the 1st one

Hi viewer, I have had a play with the streams that Craig post also.
Could not get them to work until I did another clean up with ccleaner to clean all the crap in FF and IE.
Why that fixed I don't now.
Forgot to say That I am using Windows 8 32bit

try pasting into notepad and confirm that you have the complete link?

speed can be changed for lower resolution if you edit the url playlist_1800, options are 700/1200/2500

I would say its timing out because the connection is too slow.
Try to edit it to playlist_700 ?
