Nobody mentions in any of the posts that these keys cannot be used to download Windows.

Sorry mate, I don't make the rules only try to enforce them.
I guess being a Mod makes me a target for certain people, pretty much like what a cop has to put up with.

then in typical Austech moderator fashion, have taken it upon your self to argue with every one about something that nobody is disagreeing with.
Maybe we need a new thread making everything a bit clearer.
Going by this post - I'd assume you can install Win 8.1 with a Win 8 key.
I'd also assume you can't download the ISO using your Win 8 key or a Win 8.1 key.
I realise you can use your Win 8 key by using the trick posted.
The post wasn't very clear - at least not to me anyway.

You say you used your legit keys and then say you had to use the generic.
This post wasn't very clear either - Maybe I'm just an idiot and not understanding what people post.
Smart arse I'll accept, but abuse, you have to be kidding. And comparing what you do, to what a cop has to put up with, again, you have to be kidding.
You should probably write it then, But I can't see anyone but you having a problem with this one.
Of course it's going to be confusing if you take two posts out of context and stick them together.
My first reply was in relation to:
I didn't feel that it was required to go through the entire process, that had already been posted by jwoegerbauer 2 posts earlier, was just saying it's not illegal, as Philquad was inquiring about.
Download the ISO with a valid Windows 8 key, install Windows 8.1 with the default key, activate Windows 8.1 with your valid Windows 8 key. Once again, It's all written in jwoegerbauer's first post, so I didn't feel the need to rehash the info.
At the end of the day, you misunderstood/couldn't comprehend the posts on the subject, then went about telling everyone that it does not work as they said it does, when it does work exactly as they said it does, as you can see, I even supplied pictures of it working as they said it does.
