Is the usage meter up to date? Check to see if it's sitting in unrated usage.
I downloaded around 12gb last night, of which 6GB was Steam, and all of it is still showing as unrated, it will probably be another 12hrs before it shows correctly as 6gb download usage, 6gb unmetered usage.
As for your PM, I have no idea why TCPview is showing me the IP address and showing you the domain name, maybe someone else can help with that one.
But the good news is, you're connected to the correct server: steam.content.bigpondgames.com so it should be unmetered.

I do beg your pardon.
I found the link on bigpond to go to detailed usage, and did find data unmetered
Thanks for your continued help Dave001
Again, sorry for hijack, but this may change any readers on bigpond isp, to do this with Steam as well?
Just to finish my part off, here is proof that Dave001 put me on to a good thing, I finished d/l of a game from steam, this the result.
Do we know if other d/l sites are affiliated with the bigpond servers, ala steam, as this is a big saving of data for us smaller quota people?
Nope. Not at all. It is very wasteful, and there is no point in buying games that you won't even play. Its basically like throwing away money out of your own pockets for something useless.
381 games, 200 DLC, 1 full time job, 2 websites, 0 time to play anything.
Hai!
Personally no I'm not addicted. My kids though..............ffffp it's never ending Dad can you buy this please.....it's only 5 buck tonight only.......

I have also been addicted so much to steam. I think it is the best and now that they have introduced their own gaming computer that is well optimized for gaming.
I never buy games for steam, I usually downloads free to play games.
There are some good free to play games that as good as the paid games.
Never heard of stream but after reading everyones comments it sounds promissing.
