Default Is Windows 8 Upgrade Single Use?

    Hi Guys,

I did the $50 Windows 8 Pro upgrade from Windows 7 Pro when 8 first came out and then went back to 7 after deciding I didn't like it.

After having a touch ultrabook using windows 8 for a while now, I'm now finding I like it and want to update the 7 pro desktop to windows 8 again but now it doesn't like that CD or Key.

My question is; is the upgrade disk and key a single use thing and I have to go and buy a new key now because the old one was already activated?

I should add that I have also updated the processor and motherboard since using the upgrade key

Note, I have not tried it, so it's only a suggestion.

Changing registry settings isn't my thing anymore have done that sort of stuff in the past and also used loaders, cracks, key gens and KMS hacks but trying to be good now and pay for my software!

So just buy a new disk/key?
