    Default Freenas 9.2.1.1 Bugs

Here's the poop people , just updated freenas too 9.2.1.1 and what a total waste of time , its got more bugs in it then whats out in my backyard , was forced back too 9.2.0 , just thought i would let you know may save some people some time.
The biggest problem i came across was trying too start the cifs services , after spending a day and a half i gave up , will wait now till they fix the cifs problems.

Wish I'd read your post last week. I downloaded the current FreeNAS for a little project here - and had no end of trouble getting it going. Previous versions were not this difficult.

In the end, I spun up a copy of Windows Server 2012 R2 and activated the iSCSI target feature. Sooo easy to get going - just Next, Next, Next and I had an iSCSI target just like that.
