Geez, you wouldnt think mounting it would be so hard, I might have to stop for a think on this one. They have added so much over the last day that the camera needs to go higher than what I had it.
We now have some live stick nest building now that I have mounted it and left them alone.
And I get it all going and they piss off down the bottom of the cage for dinner.
exited (15-06-17)
They are going to be building in to the camera soon...and I am nearly out of sticks which is a major issue.
Anyone remember the old 70's board game KerPlunk ? I take one stick at a time from the bottom.......
Hi admin
The stream worked for me in VLC Player and by clicking the link.
You would have to wonder how big a nest it would be given more space and sticks.
Have you thought of giving them bamboo skewers to supplement there building supply's

Back online.
Gday Dave,
I have given them skewers before, they wont use them.
Just like they wont eat any bird seed unless its Trill.
If they don't get their own way they scream the house down, which can be annoying as my wife works night shift.
I am near out of sticks, there are about 20 in the bottom of the cage which they don't seem to keen to walk down and get but they will have to at some stage.
Bah, forgot I was going to add something.
How big a nest could they build ? Some Quaker nests in the wild are as big as a car with multiple entrances.
They are back at it again and getting very close to the camera.
Daisy, the smaller blue bird, really has some strength for a small bird. From previous nests I have pulled down, I have had sticks with bends in them and sticks with the hook end completely broken off.
Damn, these 2 are like beavers, they have near blocked all the view !
