windows 7 an d or xp

been to a few torrent sites looking for either xp or 7, i cant seen to find one that works on my laptop, its 32 bit i think, i had windows xp on it before, then i actually found a widows 7 that worked, but as i all ready have win8 on my pc i thought i would go back to xp on the laptop, now i cant find the win 7 that i put on silly me, and of course when i go to put xp on with my xp disk there is no drivers, if anyone can pm me a link that works it would be great but it needs to have the drivers on it, im not really good enough to find drivers etc........thanks in advance

What model of Laptop do you have, the Brand and model would help?.
I've probably got an original (new) copy of XP lying around here somewhere that you can have, I could even probably drum up a 7 if I had to - I would expect you to pay the postage, but neither of these will install all the drivers you may need.
Drivers, however, for most models, can be quite easily sourced and if you are really lucky I (or maybe some other tech here) may well have an original CD.

Your Windows XP drivers are freely available from http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/drivers - simply enter 5310 in Product Model.
PM your snail mail address and I'll send you XP.
In the mean time download the XP drivers onto a USB data stick, that way they will be ready for when you install XP

As it happens, I've worked on this model before and while I don't have original installation discs I do have all the XP 32bit Drivers.
I'll put them on a CD for you and include it in the parcel

hi, I have a laptop that has XP on it but for some reason it wont turn on or anything,, My boy broke the hinge the screen is on and the wire is broken on the right side.. not sure if that's why it wont work or what, but I need to install XP on my computer that runs VIsta. I only need this computer to use for two way radio programming. I downloaded a link from this site for XP but when I click install, It shows up asking what I want to do,,, the options are install XP, Check compatibility. learn more about set up, and other tasks... the problem is the Install is in dark color thus not allowing me to click on it to continue... any ideas?

Perhaps you would be better served asking the mods to re locate this post in a separate thread, that way no one gets confused between your questions and Hillview103's questions.
However to attempt to answer some of your questions, we've established the screen doesn't work because of a broken wire - an assumption I know..... but, still relevant to the query
What is the make and model of the laptop??.
When you switch the laptop On what lights come up on the body of the Laptop??.
have you attempted to use an external monitor or perhaps a USB to VGA switch??.
Do you want to recover the laptop in working condition??.
or do you just need to retrieve data off the laptop??.

Can I assume from your post that you have another PC currently running Vista ??.
Can I also assume you need this unit to be loaded with XP ??.
Do you want to run both Vista and XP on the same PC ??

And when you've answered these, there will be many more.

You are the one looking in the wrong torrent sites. Look in 1337x.org, or kickass.to you will find what you are looking for. I recently downloaded one from the site.
