    Default Navig8r I43

Has anyone converted i43 to run iGO or Primo. I have an i43 given to me by MissRadio after her company dumped them. It's currently gathering dust and I would like to convert it if possible. I have done some searches but so far found nothing useful.

Just install Primo or iGO8 to a SD card in a folder called MobileNavigator and rename the executable to MobileNavigator.exe. This should then override the standard Navig8r software on the internal flash disk.

    Cheers, Ian

My thanks again to Jards88 for providing a very simple solution to my question. The Navig8r i43 is proving to be a great platform for Primo and it has now replaced my aged S90i. The unit does have a shortcoming in that when it heats up sitting on the dash and the SD card tends to experience some sort of contact problem and fails, running normally again when the unit cools, probably more to do with the SD card than the Navig8r. I have overcome the problem by replacing the MobileNavigator folder on the internal memory with the Primo version.
