    Default Give me the strongest

Tried to make the title interesting - anyone know the strongest transponders on Thaicom 5 and Palapa D?

Want to pick these ones up - so to speak.

Some of the strongest Cband on Thaicom are the H polarity. The V regional ones most people will not get.

For Palapa Kvisions package booms in for me as do all the other frequencies except for Kompass TV. I do not believe Palapa signal extends to Canberra.

However, I could put all the FTA channels from thaicom C band, Telkmovisions, and Palapa onto a Vulkano placeshifting system and you could then stream them into your place.
My sister lives in Wanniassa and her net there is find for streaming.

This is the Palapa Cband footprint

Thaicom footprint there are several beams so look carefully

There are a few channels on these sats that I found biss keys for on the net that I wanted to try out. Just for curiosity really to see if they really work. The main channels that we watch are on Asiasat 5 &3s, and IS8. Thaicom seems pretty low on the horizon but I'll give it a try. I'll let you know. ta.
