    I watched a recording of an André Rieu concert that was shown on SBS yesterday, enjoyed it very much the absolutely superb item was Casta Diva sung by Kimmy Skota a South African soprano.

    This exercise, base jumping into a plane, has to be the silliest thing I've ever seen. I wonder how long it will take the civil aviation authorities to act to ban such stupidity.

    So many things could go wrong, from the pilot concentrating on maneuvering the plane to receive the jumper and flying into an obstacle or the ground, in the process, or a jumper hitting the propeller or a control surface and rendering the plane un-airworthy, such that it crashes.
