VMware Player 6 on Linux Mint 17

Just installed VMware Player 6 on my new build of Mint 17 and decided to post up a how to, just in-case someone else needs to do the same.

Go to the website below and download VMware Player 6 (32 bit or 64 bit) depending on your OS. Mine was build on 64 bit.




Once downloaded go into the downloads folder and open a Terminal then paste and run the line below.


gksudo bash ./VMware-Player-6.0.3-1895310.x86_64.bundle


For 32 bit just replace the filename after ./ with the 32 bit file name.
