Well my Vu Duo2 arrived this morning not bad because I only ordered it one week and two days ago so now its time to ask some questions.
Now I'm not into video streaming yet but possibly will not be, I'm not into you tube and stuff like that all I want this box for is to be as user friendly to control all my dishes via DISEqC 1.1, record channels (Buying 2 TB drive tomorrow) have good use for Plugins, softcams, and to have as many feature as possible including the BEST use of the left LCD screen so can I ask you guys what is the best stable Blackhole image that you recommend that will suit my needs. Also can you please direct me to a recommended site to download this image.
    Thanks

I'd suggest using the second latest image for your box (2.1.0), the latest ones has some issues reported.

Or for a simple image, try this:

P.S. You have a great postal system where you live... Arrived this morning and you posted at 8.18am!!! Christ, who delivers that early?

    Yep.
I never expected it to arrive that quick and at the moment I'm in the process of installing Strip LED Backlights on our Hecto screen so I will finish this job then start the Vu duo2 job once finished and after a rest.

Everything I do is complicated even these strip lights that have a Ir control to adjust the brightness and the 12Volt Hecto Screen output (not used) is going to be used to auto turn the LED's on. The wife shaking her head "quote" Cant you every do anything that you don't need a science degree to use it. Lol,Lol,,Lol.

Years ago i did that with my projector, 12vdc output controlled a relay in my switchboard, which operated the motorised screen and rolled off the lights in the cabinet the screen came down in front of.
That room is now a disused junk room full of crap.... Although screen, projector and all the gear is still in place.
I often wonder if i will ever use that room again.

Well, the Vu+ would have to be the easiest and most simple box to apply new images too.
Once installed, set up all your details and channel lists etc, then save those files. Especially given your complex antenna set up.
Some images allow a "personal back up". So when you load a new image, you just re load your personal settings and in less then 1 minute, everything is done.

Favourite images for that box seem to be Blackhole, VTI and openATV.

Some images will have FULL sat.xml, i know openATV does.
If not, just get a custom sat.xml made here:

Then ask on here about getting your epg going

You've left out THE most popular image - VIX (and openVIX).

Ilivid is a download manager that you should not have to install. Only guessing without seeing the page, it sounds like you could possibly not be clicking on the correct link.
