    Hi all,

I have new challenge for you.
What is the easiest way to copy and paste, as when I do the absolute reference changes on the copy'd data.
I'ts to involved to change every single copy'd formula as I'm trying to do for all year.
    Please check the file.

    Thanks.

Your link doesn't work for me but is it not as simple as using the $ sign in your equation
IE: A1+A2 the result in C3 could be =SUM(A1:B1) this would total 20 (if the total in 1 and 2 was 10)
However if I copy C3 to C7 the equation is changed to =SUM(A7:B7) a total of Zero
but if I place a $ in the original equation so that it now becomes =SUM($A$1:$B$1) it doesn't matter where I copy it to, the result remains the same.

In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of Excel is from many years ago and very limited so I am unable to offer any advice.

Having said that, a quick google, , shows what looks like links to relevant information.
