Default Windows 8 back to win 7

Was hoping someone may be able to help find driver for my HP laptop model Envy dv7. There is no drivers for win 7 on the official site but most work. Cant find any Ethernet or network drivers to work. Any help appreciated

I have just done this with an HP laptop but a completely different model.
    It can be a challenge.
This website helped me a lot but you have just said a dv7....there are a multitude of variations of this model....you need to provide the full model name.

    Here is a start for a dv7-7255ER

Another trick is to find the make and model of your ethernet and wireless cards and go to the manufactures website for win 7 drivers....I did this while I still had win8 installed...it's a lot harder when in win7 with unknown device and a yellow exclamation mark next to it

Google specifications of your model and it may list the type of cards you have.

Try "Slim Drivers" and see if it auto updates your drivers?
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

When drivers are not available from the manufacturer's website, I generally use DriverPack Solution from .

Download from , burn the program to DVD and use from there.

The program is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions, works extremely well and is also available via torrents (Google is your friend).
