Nothing at all on the Mediastar HDX 9100.
Just wondering is someone that has a dish parked on D2 if they can scan for me 12679V 7500 5/6 8PSK. Now My duo 2 won't load this when I manually scan it but when I use Dreambox edit and upload my settings to my computer it finds it (in the duo2)but it says its DATA Now my Azbox and two Openboxes (S10 and 16) load it and come up as [No Name SID= 1] but the duo2 it comes up as noting. When I scanning I'm giving it the S2 and the 8PSK treatment. Again why does it say its DATA? Am I scanning incorrectly for this one and only channel. By the way the pair to this channel is 12272V 7502 QPSK 3/4. This one is fine on the duo2 and other

If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?
"What has changed between the arrival of the First Fleet and today?"
"Wearing leg irons is now not required."
Oh its there my other box find it but my duo2 thinks its data which 99% its not.
Yes I know that it is biss but I wonder why the Duo 2 brings it up that its data and maybe because of this you can't find it anywhere on the duo2 itself and the only place you can find it is when you upload all to your computer where in there it tell me its data.
Now there other feed 12272V 7505 3/4 is 100% Ok in all departments
I have proven that TX 12679 V 7500 is video on my openboxes but why does the Duo2 think that this Mpeg 4 Transponder is Data. Still working on it, Something very odd here.
I have given up The duo2 think its data and its causing problems. Thank Christ for the $60 Openboxs. I'll wait if anyone on this forum has ever experienced something like this.
Comes up on Strong 4930 as follows:
TV 1 - 12679V Optus
VPID - 1165
APID - 1125
PPID - 8190
DVB-S2 8PSK H.264 MPEG
Problems similar to that which you describe have occurred from time to time and have been shown to be due to non-compliance with the mpeg () and/or dvb () standards in either the offending channel's transport stream and/or the receiver's operating software.
Unfortunately, the standards are a little open-ended in some areas and are therefore open to slightly different interpretations by broadcasters and receiver manufacturers alike.
Some software engineers, learning from past experience, have made allowance for processing (some) non-compliant streams, when writing receiver software. Naturally, it is difficult to anticipate every possible scenario, particularly for a world market.
If you wish to learn a little bit more about the composition of transport streams, I suggest that you read or similar websites.
Rod Hewitt's pages, , although somewhat dated now, are also a good source of information.
If interested, a copy of the standard applicable to DVB data broadcasting is available from the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) website at .

Thank you for your useful post. I would say the Duo2 is at fault as Openbox S10 Openbox S16 and AZbox Premium Plus all work ok. Well put it this way the Azbox loads the TX but of course shows a black screen but once again those cheap nasty little Openbox's aren't they cute they seem to work with anything yet the expensive duo2 was stopped in its first tracks. As one member said to me months ago "Now you know why you need a collection of different boxes"
Thanks for the acknowledgement, Mr 672A.
Yes, the Openbox receivers, although low-cost, do appear to work very well and you're probably correct in your assumption re. the Duo2.

In dreambox edit just change the service type from "data" to be "tv" and send it back.
Yeah I was thinking of that and although that's easy it also was missing all the pids and pmt and other. I could have manually added them as I collected everything that was needed thanks to Transedit 4,0. Yes apsattv the Open Boxes called it Service. The Azbox called it Service ID and if I remember correctly the duo2 called it NONAME PID 1 or SID 1, on the computer via dreamboxEdit. Anyhow I enjoyed watching the black screen via the Openboxes.
