    Thanks for that info. I had given up on my WDTV Live Streaming box, because every time I wanted to use it, it could not be started from the remote control. I had to turn it off at the wall, then back on... and wait... and wait ... and waiiitt while it did a cold start. I had concluded that it most likely had a hardware fault.

    Strangely enough, the new firmware fixed it. Shame about iView though. I'll be keeping my OSMC box for that.

    Glad that wasn't just me, i had 2 WDTV Lives that do actually that, both ripped out and tossed in the cupboard.
    Might be some hope for them yet
