For those that have a NVIDIA Geforce GPU there is another update to the driver available for W10.
Just put it to work on mine & all is well.

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.

Looked at the update history on my Windows 10 Home 64-bit laptop. It differs from what you have posted:
KB3081452
KB3081449
KB3081448
KB3081444
KB3081441
KB3081438
KB3081436
KB3081424
KB3074686

Windows Automatic Update is ENABLED, I don't want to decide which updates to be installed.
BTW: I've upgraded to Windows 10 at August 1, 2015.

AFAIK you can not disable updates on 10.
Does anybody know how long they take (on an average ADSL) and how large the downloaded files are?

Spot on Al Bundy - you can disable Windows 10 updates in the Pro version.
There are two methods I know off.
FIRST METHOD
1. Search for and run "services.msc".
2. Scroll down list for "Windows Update" and double click.
3. Within the drop down list under "Startup type", select "Disable".
4. Click "Apply", then OK" and exit the services window.
SECOND METHOD
1. Search for and run "gpedit.msc".
2. Expand the following tree.
3. Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update.
4. Options are available to you to disable/enable to suit your requirements.
5. Each option provides a very detailed description on what happens for each option.
It is in your best interest to re-enable windows update regularly, enabling you to receive the latest updates, especially since Win 10 is so new and will have teething problems.
Should you wish to disable further services from chewing up your bandwidth, check out the following:
A. Windows automatically downloading of maps:
1. Search for and run "services.msc".
2. Scroll down list for "Downloaded Maps Manager" and double click.
3. Within the drop down list under "Startup type", select "Disable".
4. Click "Apply", then OK" and exit the services window.
B. Cortana searching the internet and using your location:
1. Search for and run "gpedit.msc".
2. Expand the following tree.
3. Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Search.
4. Numerous options are available to you to disable/enable services to suit your circumstances.
5. I've enabled "Do not allow web search"; "Don't search the web..." (see attached pictures.
You make your changes at your own risk.
I have done all above and more with nil effect for what I want.
See attached photos that highlight some of the changes I've put in place.

Thanks Xplorer, I was referring to your second method, thanks for posting it for everybody who would like to utilise it, I couldn't be bothered putting up with the crap from a certain somebody else.

Well, a couple of weeks in and W10 has been pretty much faultless for me (since I did a fresh install).
How is it for everyone else ? I am a relatively "light" user these days (no masses of installed programs, torrents and other crap which tests PC's)
I'm quite happy! W10 seems to be far more responsive and stable than even W7 and W7 was the first OS that I had that did not require a "re-load and tidy-up" every now and then. (I think I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I have re-loaded 7 on all of my machines.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
I had 2 minor glitches with drivers, the MoBo sound driver which I have solved (posted a few pages back) & the NVIDIA Geforce driver that appeared to work well with W10, however a couple of times coming back from screen saver the resolution of the desktop was lowered temporarily & everything on it 4 times expected size, then it would correct itself, the latest 2 driver updates in the last month from NVIDIA appear to solve the problem.
Apart from those glitches I like it, runs smooth & when you turn off all the unnecessary data usage background services it's friendly to piss poor broad band connections.
Cheers, Tiny

I've had only a few small glitches with drivers, but now the laptop manufacturer has all Win10 drivers, all is good.
Upgrades on both laptop and desktop went smooth.
Then ran setup again deleting all partitions and doing a clean install - all without a glitch - and all without entering any keys, and it automatically activated too.
I've even ran setup a 2nd time as a clean install to see what would happen.
Clicked "Skip" on 2 occasions when asked to input Win10 key, and it installed and activated with no other input from me.
Apart from MS prying eyes, I went through and disabled numerous settings, and it's running very fast and smooth. I actually like it.
Also, if you're on a limited internet plan, you really need to go through and disable some settings to stop the BW being used without you knowing.
I've recently had a glitch with Shutdown of W10 64 pro that is identical to an issue I've had before as quoted below, it's been happening since the day after the last Win Update & didn't seem to want to resolve itself as I have experienced with W8.
Basically it shuts down via the power button then either immediately restarts or starts up anything up to 3 hours later by itself unless I turn the power point off.
This was with shutdown set to "shut down, fast startup enabled."
As 'Fast startup' is a hybrid mode of Shutdown & hibernate, I disabled that yesterday & it didn't restart all day.
Re-enabled 'Fast startup' today & the problem started again, W10 started up from shutdown 30 minutes later by itself.
Any one else experiencing this with W10?
Occurrence is just after a Windoze update every time & lasts from a few days to a week then disappears, still haven't tracked why or what, however I suspect it is a fault in the Win update cycle that keeps waking the PC & lappy to complete.
Turning off at power point every time I shut it down for a few days for the W8.1 PC put a band-aid on the issue until it resolved itself.
For the laptop, low battery default shut down or using shutdown instead of hibernate is only 2 things that can turn my Vista Lappy off permanently until after a few days the situation resolves itself & hibernation stays hibernated.
Cheers, Tiny
