Navman my600lmt

hi all
I have myself a Navman MY600LMT

I have just tried to put the navdesk smartst software onto my windows 8 laptop. It goes through the install procedure
and asks to plug in device, and then it continues until installation finishes.

The problem i am having is that it doesnt actually install to my laptop/windows, it installs to the device itself!
I never had this problem in windows 7.

Does anyone know what may be the problem and how to fix it?

Navman’s software NavDesk, as its name implies, is a software for PC's desktop. It is compatible with Windows 8 (32 bit & 64 bit) if you before have installed .NET Framework 3.5.





The downloaded Navman's software SmartST( ~ 60 MB) is an installer which installs SmartST on your Navman MY600LMT, not on your PC.



If you don't want the SmartST-installer immediately begins installing to your Navman MY600LMT , then simply don't connect your Navman with the PC before starting the SmartST-installer on your PC.
