    Default bricked Nozatec chinees sat-nav

    hello people ,

    can anyone help me I have a nozatec 5" sat nav that's lost its operating system CE6.0 as anyone got the nk.bin & chain files so I can get this back
    up and running again please

    thanks for your reply; the thing ran good when it did work But it used to take several attempts to boot it up



    so all I want is windows CE6.0 that will go on it then I can rebuild the Gps side of things

    if anyone can help

    The error message shown in no case is originated by Windows CE. It's generated by the launcher application (menu system) OEM added. Look into the device's Windows CE registery under HKLM\init what the name of the launcher application is. My assumption is the folder which houses the menu system got corrupted.

    If the guys at Noza Tec community can't help, ask manufacturer for a copy of it.

    BTW.

    You don't need a Windows CE 6.0 per se ( which doesn't exist! ). Note that each Windows CE 6.0 is compiled by manufacturer according to the hardware the GPS is made of. In between thousands of Windows CE 6.0 versions exist.
