    Default BTSuite.exe - how to run?

    Hi, I am trying to open BTSuite.exe from an option in my new Navigation screen, but absolutely nothing happens, any ideas?

    I already tried:

    Code:
    command = "\ResidentFlash2\App\BT\BTSuite.exe"

    command = "\ResidentFlash2\App\BT\BTSuite.exe","_L~Y!G_A 0P1 P2_*X"

    command = Run("\ResidentFlash2\App\BT\BTSuite.exe","_L~Y!G_A 0P1 P2_*X")
    Thanks in advance!

    I suspect that BTSuite.exe does not have any user interface and is just a TSR that provides bluetooth connectivity to other programs. How you interface with it is another question entirely.

    That's the interface I'm taking about. You need to work out just what happens behind the scenes when you push the bluetooth button. Not an easy thing to do but possible if you can work out the sequence of events that happens. I've tried to do the same thing for my own bluetooth GPS but so far have been unable to get anywhere as I would like to be able to use the bluetooth functions from within iGO Primo itself.

    Download "CEProcessViewer" and install the tool on your GPS anywhere in its flash drive (NOT in \Windows folder !!!)
    Link:
    Thus you can explore whether BTSuite.exe gets loaded and keeps running when you click on it.

    Have this read in a Russian forum, posted one year ago:

    "For all of you, who have problems with runing BT on Primo, you need appropriate nnghal.dll in Primo folder, to be able see BT icon in Primo menu with parameter suggested before"

    SYS.TXT

    [bluetooth]
    btappl="\Residentflash2\APP\BT\BTSuite.exe"
    btparam=1

    [phone]
    show_bluetooth=1

    EDIT:

    As I told you in the previous thread my knowledge is that BTSuite.exe is called by iGO Primo: It turns on BT and shows you within the Primo navigation software the BT related menu items, hence the name BTSuite.

    If I see it correctly, then your device has BT, and is paired to your mobile, but as yet you have not been able to find a way of making a call without using Primo ( means going into Primo's menu and there picking the phone up to dial the required number). If that's true then use a program called "phoneui.exe" (Google for it). Or try freeware - download the Pocket PC 2002 ARM (Version1.11).

    ADDENDUM: Wondering why AUSTECH member NRT wasn't here yet? He is iGO Primo specialist.

    Yes I can pair my phone with bluetooth to my CE6 device and I can use it ok provided I pair the phone prior to starting any GPS program. When started it puts a moveable bluetooth icon on screen which floats above any open program and allows access to the bluetooth menu directly although it does sometimes get in the way a bit. I have never been able to make Primo open the menu directly from it's own bluetooth icon.

    Thank you both!,
    I'll try CEProcessViewer, however I do not think just be a only problem with bluetooth suite, there is something else, for example I can't open the setting interface too...
    It would be great get a Debugger or something like that to spit with a return the exact command when bluetooth button is pushed...

    I want to clarify that the problem is not with iGO or another navigation software, the Bluetooth or Settings buttons I'm creating in the navigation menu, where you can choose iGO Primo or Garmin.

    On the other hand you know how I can edit or unpack the files with extension "pack"?, like "data_main.pack"

    Thanks for your help guys!

    Don't know whether it's of interest for you: BTSuite.exe (authored in 2008 by MTK) depends on libraries "BLUEZMW.dll" and "COREDLL.dll". "BLUEZMW.dll" itself depends on "BLUEMAN.dll" and "COREDLL.dll".

    And, might be that BT must be turned on, before starting BTSuite.exe. So run WindowsCE version of BTOnOff.exe (Google for it).

    Screenshot BTSuite.exe

    Also: These files must be present in folder where you have BTSuite.exe located:

    APN.ini
    BlueTooth.ini
    BTConfig.ini
    BlueZMW.dll
    BlueMan.dll
    BTSuite.exe
    BTSuite.mrf
    MTKProtocol.ini

    As said, MTK put the "BTSuite" on all devices where they pre-install iGO.

    BTW:

    AFAIK, since July 2009 navigation software "Garmin Mobile XT" - the last WindowsCE ready version - is no longer sold by Garmin.

    Hi jwoegerbauer!,
    In my case, BlueZMW.dll, BlueMan.dll and COREDLL.dll are not located in the same folder that BTSuite.exe, more, I can not find them anywhere in the Flash memory 2 or 3!
    I thought that bluetooth suite rather than an application would be a new screen, so remove the "command =" and place a "NewIni = Bluetooth.ini" but nothing happened.
    I'm really lost and I think I will not come to fruition with this...
    Sorry if I sound depressing, but I'm frustrated

    Well, I tried using Iphone Today, I made a basic menu and again the problem, I can not enter BTSuite.exe, setting_wince.exe or turn on the FM Transmit.
    I could not decompress data_main.pack with 7-zip, or anything ...
    I knew an executable called "setting_new.exe" in a Russian forum apparently to work but all I got links are dead.
    I came to an intersection of streets closed, anyone has an idea about how to start unwinding the skein of wool?
    Thank you!
