Can not download. I even tried with DAP (download manager) but it stuck DISC1 on 8% and DISC2 on 27%.
    I'll try again

I too was unable to download anything from that site yesterday and I see today it is not available.
For most of my life, I lived a delusion

So, because I've an unlimited data plan, I've started to download the MCE which is part of TechNet's "Windows XP Collection (14.4 GB)" you can find several times in the internet.
Because the download speed actually will not exceed ~10KB/s, as I could notice, it will take some days downloading the 14.4 GB completes. If successfully completed I'll re-upload the Windows XP MCE 2005 ( EN_WINDOWS_XP_MCE2005_DISC1.ISO & EN_WINDOWS_XP_MCE2005_DISC2.ISO ) to the cloud so you will be able to get it from there.

    Please be patient ...

As promised: Downloaded and then re-uploaded Windows XP MCE 2005

    ( 587.8 MB )
    ( 258.3 MB )

What you get - in detail:

    1. Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 - CD1 (English)
      File Name: en_winxp_mce_2005_cd1.iso
Date Published (UTC): 9/8/2004 5:48:00 PM
      SHA1: 263E59A41559BDB988304F033EA8116EFC500456
    2. Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 - CD2 (English)
      File Name: en_winxp_mce_2005_cd2.iso
Date Published (UTC): 9/8/2004 5:48:00 PM
      SHA1: 4EFC488F9ED6B746CEC11E8B1CDC5241C50FA490

    Probably working serials:

    C4BH3-P4J7W-9MT6X-PGKC8-J4JTM
    RD6W4-369DT-DMHQH-4RVKW-WY6PG
    VWW2Q-22YMY-W4VWC-GTX4Q-47BC6
    HYHV7-W343F-9TCCK-JPCBM-B2FQ8
    P8HY6-D3G46-RVF66-GP7VM-8CFT3

    Installation:

When installing, you must first insert CD1 to boot PC, then it asks for CD2 and then again for CD1.

Note: Of course you can combine both ISOs and burn only one CD/DVD:
    See here:

The "Security Update for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Update Rollup 2 X86 Edition (KB2619340)" you download from here:

This update is a major update to MCE 2005 which enhances the stability and performance of MCE 2005. This update fixes several known issues. The update also adds the following new functionality to Media Center:
    1. This update improves the Media Center Extender experience. Media Center now recognizes when a Microsoft Xbox 360 is connected to the network. Additionally, Media Center now prompts you to install the software components that Media Center must have to support the Media Center Extender functionality of the Xbox 360.
    2. On U.S. versions of Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, this update provides support for a second Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) tuner card. Media Center now supports up to two ATSC tuner cards and two National Television Systems Committee (NTSC) tuner cards.
    3. Media Center now supports DVB-T radio where DVB-T radio is broadcast.
    4. Media Center now includes a configurable optimization option to make sure that your Media Center computer continues to run smoothly.
    5. Media Center now includes a nonlinear zoom mode for widescreen TVs.
    6. This update improves the process of burning DVDs in Media Center.

A further necessary update for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (KB910393) if already having "Update Rollup 2" installed you download from here:

Last but not least another important update is the January 2006 Update Rollup für Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 v1 (KB912067) you download from here:

And so on ... it's on you now

    Important:

I'll remove this copy of Windows XP MCE 2005 after a week or so, because I need the space allocated on my cloud drive otherwise. So don't complain about a dead link. Thanks for your understanding.
