Default iGO Software & Maps - Current running Sygic crap

Hi guys .. i've been an old user of this forum from years ago when i had a car with iGo that was later sold. I recently purchased another vehicle which came with the same Chinese GPS unit running Sygic or something, which is quite crap and crashes. Pretty sure OS is WINCE .. dunno version yet.

I was wondering if i can run iGO or Primo instead of Sygic just by replacing the files in the micro sd? Or does more need to be done?

Secondly is there a cracked/free download for iGO software and Australian maps available? i couldn't find much by searching on this site or the web .. kinda lost!

If you decide to switch to iGO8, then you should know that iGO8 can process both HERE (formerly NAVTEQ) and TomTom (aka TELEATLAS) maps. So it's a matter of taste....

Yes, i've used NAVTEQ before and was quite happy with those .. unless you can point me to TELEatlas maps - happy to give it a try ..

I managed t get iGO running .. however its just not locking on to any satellites .. not sure what happened there because the previous sygic was atleast finding satellites ..

    Any ideas?

you might have to go into the IGO settings and tell the software what com port the RXer is attached to
If you can't run with the DOGS, Stay on the Porch
