Did you have power vu working on it at all ?? also did you load a softcam file first so it had keys to start with ??

Yes, it worked with PV with SoftCam I loaded, as far as I know the SoftCam didn't have EMM keys and when keys rolled the X5 never open that channel until I fix the SoftCam with new keys, I get new keys from my GLOBO HD405, the X5 it has Firmware from AlphaBox, when receiver boots the boot image is AlphaBox, is the only firmware that fixes the SID problem.

Thanks, I will try it now, just to be clear, the X5 still works with PID numbers? I have to enter same ECM Keys for each channel on a single TP?

As far as I know the OpenBox X5 firmware worked with all the X5 models like X5 Pro, X5+ unless it was the second Version of the X5 that used a different firmware than version 1, maybe you can try loading this firmware and if it doesn't work you can do recovery via serial port RS232, I have recovered a few X5 that were loaded with Q Sat firmware by owners that think when a receiver has the same Sunplus Chip it can be loaded with any file with the same chip.
