thanks, but I do not have access to the GPS menu, then, to turn it goes straight to a blue screen with a red X in the center and stays there
Can you access Windows CE, means have already tried ?
If this works, then you - in a further step - can programmatically hard-reset the device.
1. I format the sdcard and rename as SDMMC
2. Edit the .inf and .ini with \ SDMMC \ Autorun.exe
3. Power off gps. Insert sd-card. Power on gps, it goes straight to a blue screen with a red X in the center
please, I've done the right thing?

You haven't correctly read the lines
It's not of interest how you name the SD-card (volume name), but how Windows CE calls it (this is hard-coded in Windows CE).Edit with Notepad all files with extension .INI and/or .INF, means add a single line such as
<Storage Card>\Autorun.exe
where you replace <Storage Card> with the card's real name used be CE
Examples: SDCARD, SDMemory, SDMemory1, SDHCMemory, MMC, SDMMC, HSMMC, and so on ...
1. already corrected, edit the .inf and .ini with only < \Autorun.exe >, so be fine?
2. power off gps. Insert sd-card. Power on gps, it goes straight to a blue screen with a red X in the center
