The Following User Says Thank You to lsemmens For This Useful Post:
The only tools I ever would trust in is the free-of-charge "Sysinternals Suite", this because SysInternals - founded 1996 - since some years now is a company owned by Microsoft.
"Sysinternals Suite" actually contains the following Tools:
AccessChk, AccessEnum, AdExplorer, AdInsight, AdRestore, Autologon, Autoruns, BgInfo, CacheSet, ClockRes, Contig, Coreinfo, Ctrl2Cap, DebugView, Desktops, Disk2vhd, DiskExt, DiskMon, DiskView, Disk Usage (DU), EFSDump, FindLinks, Handle, Hex2dec, Junction, LDMDump, ListDLLs, LiveKd, LoadOrder, LogonSessions, MoveFile, NTFSInfo, PageDefrag, PendMoves, PipeList, PortMon, ProcDump, Process Explorer, Process Monitor, PsExec, PsFile, PsGetSid, PsInfo, PsPing, PsKill, PsList, PsLoggedOn, PsLogList, PsPasswd, PsService, PsShutdown, PsSuspend, RAMMap, RegDelNull, RegJump, RootkitRevealer, SDelete, ShareEnum, ShellRunas, SigCheck, Streams, Strings, Sync, TCPView, VMMap, VolumeID, WhoIs, WinObj, ZoomIt.
What you should know:
Instead of downloading the complete "Sysinternals Suite", means all the Sysinternals tools at once, you also can download each tool separately. To do this, tap keys Win + R and enter
http: //live.sysinternals.com/tools/<tool name>, for example http: //live.sysinternals.com/tools/procexp.exe (without the blank of course)

Ah yes, . Then Microsoft threatened to sue them unless they changed the name. Then Microsoft made them "an offer they couldn't refuse".
