    Teac MV-3450, nsnp, 300v sitting on main filter cap, Havn't gone
    any further, caps in power supply?, or something more sinister?

    Man, you gotta do more than that b4 you post here...... Eeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr, start-up resistor maybe? How we s'pose to know? Take a couple of measurements and get back.........

    All sorted, I thought this was the electronics forum, not the kiddy forum, If you needed anymore information than what was posted you obviously havn't a clue, 300v on the filter cap and no nsnp, obviously the power supply is not functioning, really guys if you dont know then dont post dribble.

    It really sh#ts me when I would spend time to help anyone and they come back and complain, go figure, it takes all types to make the world spin around I suppose

    not enough info do you have right gear to test could be anything wrong with power supply use A Circuit diagram
    and get back with more info
