    Default 'Accident Investigation' calling.

at 5.45pm tonight the telephone rings, picked up and I say 'Hello, Hello, Hello?' until after about 30 seconds of silence, a hard to hear Asian Female voice announces that it is the 'Accident Investigation calling as a report had been made of a person at this telephone number was involved in an accident in the last 12 months and could they speak to that person?'

I cleared my voice and proceeded to call her a 'Low life lying scum and it would be no accident what I would do to her' but before I could elaborate, the connection was broken.........................

The only reason I am bothering to pass this on is because another member reported that one of these scam type calls claimed that there 'was a warrant out for his Wife' which made me wonder if this was a new tack by the scammers to rip people off.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

I get these calls about twice a month. I tell them if they ring my number again then they will be having an accident.

Must work well on Asians seeing its a Asian caller, i am guessing no shortage of accidents under their belts.

Had one last week. Guy had a pommie accent. He wanted to speak to me about a minor bingle that my daughter had months ago. Scam bells started ringing. When I pressed him for details, he wouldn't give me any. I told him that I wouldn't speak for my daughter without her consent. He said he'd ring back, but of course he never did.

I had a tell-marketeer call and ask to speak to the owner (me) sorry you can't. When would be a good time never as he was killed in a car crash last night. The caller whet silent and then hung up.,
