EPSON WF-2540 - Printer offline message.

Hi everybody
I am trying to get my wife's Compaq Presario laptop to print from the WI-FI printer. I have an EPSON WF-2540 Series (FAX) Printer.
I am getting the message on the Laptop - Printer Offline.
All the WI-FI router settings appear to be fine on the printer. All the drivers seem set up okay on my wife's laptop but my wife get's the message - Printer Offline.
Will I re-install the disc drivers again on the laptop? Any fault - finding to do folks?
Obviously the printer works okay from the stand-alone computer attached to the printer.

If printer's Wi-Fi light is on, on PC empty the print queue, means cancel All documents.
