After watching a friends Video of swimming with the Great Whites at Whyalla.... All that happened to Mick is a Shark got tangled in his leg rope and thrashed to get free.

For sure, I reckon he would have been washing the brown stain out of his wetsuit for a weekSeriously scary stuff. But as I mentioned earlier, I just get sick of the "hero" and "bravery" status that goes with these sorts of incidents.
No one should be getting a Bravery Medal for anything related to this incident.
On a side note, when are some of these idiot surfers going to learn ? It has been spelt out time and again by experts - Do NOT go surfing early in the morning or on dusk as this is when you are likely to be attacked.
So this week we have another idiot get attacked....in the morning. And we have more idiots screaming "kill all the sharks, the ocean isnt safe".
Apparently sharks like AC/DC music too.

My bro-in-law is a pro fisherman, and he says sharks definitely do home in on prop noise of trawlers, because they know that they can usually get a free feed of trash fish being thrown overboard on the way in.

Its actually quite funny you say that.
As the minute he won, he started paddling towards the shore and doing a LOT of scanning around behind him as he paddled.
Only the Host and Cameraman on the JetSki wanted to do a In-Water interview.
Mick didn't look really happy about it, with his feet dangling off the back of his board in the calm South African water.
I'm sure once the task at hand was complete and he'd won, thoughts of last year would have come flooding back.
