    What year X5?
What version GPS Unit in the boot?
What version Software on the display?

Yes it can be done, its dead easy if you have a E53 series X5, if you have an E70, not sure.

For the E53 with Mk IV GPS unit.
Its as simple as burning a new Map CD, and popping it into the unit

Australia V1.4 is the map you need from memory.
Its on the link provided above.

If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
