Windows 10 - Re-installing Microsoft's "Windows 7 Games" is possible

My wife used to play on her Windows 7 laptop Microsoft's Games for Windows.

After upgrading to Windows 10 this game collection ( C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games ) was removed. Since Windows 10 some games now are implemented as XBOX apps, which means you have to pay a fee to get rid of the annoying ads.

My wife urged me days long after upgrading to Windows 10 to re-install the Windows 7 games. Was not funny!

I've found out that these games can be easily re-installed in Windows 10.

To do this I followed this .

Important: To get the link to the games' installer, open "Show more"

My wife now is more than happy. And me, too. Our married life is back to normal ...
