So? How many did you get?
Had a mad moment awhile ago and bid for a box of in line filters as I use a few of them running my engines on veggie oil. Got a shock at the total price and an even bigger shock when they arrived, as there is no way I can use them all in my life time, so am selling the extras for what I paid, plus postage which includes the GST.
They retail for $4.50-$5 and even higher, but I'm asking $2.50 each for them plus postage and would prefer to sell them in blocks of 10, to save on postage for the buyer and to get rid of them. They are the same you buy in super cheap auto, but have 8mm connections, a metal top and plastic body. The body of them is 55mm long, by 55mm diameter at the top and 45mm bottom. If anyone in Tas wants some, can deliver to Hobart Area COD which will save postage.

It will be Christmas soon, you could always hang them off the tree :-)
Thought I was bidding for 150, but it was a typo and when the invoice arrived, was a bit shocked. The price was excellent, but didn't count on the exorbitant cost of getting them to and into Aus. Seems there is one rule for overseas importers and another for Aus based importers, the import costs in Aus were higher than what I paid for them, yet if I had been an overseas company importing them it would have cost me virtually nothing and freight would have been less than half the cost. So a friend over there who told me about the auction, added them to a consignment of his companies and they came by sea for less than 1/3 of what I would be charged doing it myself. But, these overseas (chinese) shipping companies hold individuals to ransom by adding extra charges and refusing to release the goods until you pay them. The do this to cover themselves when their currency drops and they think they lose out.
Luckily was in the import business years ago and have a Tas based friend who is a shipping agent, so he took it over and got some of the charges removed and cleared it himself. Which saved me a few hundred dollars, but still more than doubled the price I paid for them.
You'd better talk very nicely to Mr Godzilla.

I pay a similar price wholesale believe it or not.
Throw them up on ebay spook.....workshops might grab em for stock in batches of 10, even try single units but boy what a pain to try getting your mulla back.
They are carb type filters, they wont handle the higher EFI pressures which will make them harder to move as not many people run carbs any more.

Thanks, but these were designed for diesel and veggie oil, a bit different in performance compared to what you get from super cheap etc. I've found they don't collapse when full of junk, like the petrol ones do on veggie oil. Ebay and paypal take to much from sellers for my liking and I use them as I run all my diesel engines on vegetable oils. At least I have a long term supply, so may hold them for a year or so until the wholesale prices rise, then can get back what I paid for them, so no real hurry.
