    Default Apical firmware from ndump6 ?

    Is it possible to edit a dump file from ndumpce6 to create a functional wince.img, winceapp.img for apical gps devices?

    Main purpose for using NDumpcE6 is to backup firmware of a Windows Embedded CE6 device. The dumped Windows embedded CE6 image you find in file DSK1_Part00

    To play it back, you have to rename DSK1_Part00 to whatever an APICAL device expects.

    Wondering why you want to re-write Windows embedded CE6 OS that came with your APICAL device?

    Activesync stopped working for some reason. And my actual firmware does not have windows shell. I have another apical firmware to try but if that firmware is not good, i can return to this one km backing up. I dumped the ROM and comparing it with the other real .img file their headers are different. Thats the reason i asked.
