GPS with bright display.

Hi Everyone,

A while ago I bought a Chinese knockoff of a Golf GPS UNIT for the wife's cars. While it works well for the GPS, phone etc. the screen is hard to see in daylight. Is there a model available that has a day screen fitted. I have looked around the various resellers in China but to no avail. Hoping someone can point me the right direction.

Some screens are poor in bright life as I have a digital camera I cant see the rear screen when outside.
One problem to keep in mind that if it is possible to adjust the Contrast/Brilliance to enhance the screen, it may also reduce your battery life while doing so.
I have a HUD speed reader and while it has quite a bright Green display auto adjusted for Day/Dark viewing, certain Sun angles almost make it disappear.
