I am trying out running a game via a mapped network share to Z:, its working ok except for those large file. The PC I am using has 24gb of ram and at best I use 3gb for a single game client.

Is there a way to make the left over ram cache more of the network traffic, the game is about 12gb in total. don't realy need all that cached. My idea is anything that is pull off the mapped share to stay in ram.

Or since this is mapped to Z: should I be looking at some more around drive caching.
