    Default Moonlight

Moonlight chronicles the life of a young black man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami.

For the duration of the movie this reviewer kept thinking, "This won an Oscar for best picture so when is it going to improve?" It doesn't.

    Don't bother. 0/10

If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?

"What has changed between the arrival of the First Fleet and today?"
"Wearing leg irons is now not required."

A bit like how I felt when Birdman won a couple of years back. Saw it and said WTF? THIS is the best pic for that year?

I was wondering if this one was similar and now I know Thanks for the warning.

    Hi all,

A film about black gays and coming of age is the "in thing" at the moment in the puritan states who are trying to prove they are not racist or biased.

For another waste of 2 hours try to watch an overdone, over the top, totally shiiiiiiiiite film such as La La Puke Land.

In my opinion, if you need to watch a black redemption film try Hidden Figures, at least it's interesting.

If you REALLY want to watch a good film try The Red Turtle.

Honestly, I also don't like the movie. I think Hacksaw Ridge and La La Land was much better than Moonlight.

And still can't believe they actually won the academy award for the best picture.
