Been with MNF over a year. I imported my gear from UK but MNF have offers.
Very satisfied with them. Check out their website for plans, deals, etc.
Also check out the forum that sounds like a washing machine for good info.
I am wondering who to choose for as a VoIP provider. The main purpose of me having a VoIP number is to recieve Direct In-Dial (DID) calls via a phone number (such as 07xxxxxxxx). I signed-up to DoDo's $4.95/month plan and recieved installed their hardware. After spending over 2 hours with technical support I was told to send it back and they would cancel my plan.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good VoIP provider that knows of a plan that would suit my needs aswell as offer the option to purchase the hardware required to run the system.
NOTE: I have heard good words about MyNetFone I am also wondering what experiences others have had with them.

MNF very good I have been using them for a long time
join up at the washing machine forum and then join the MNF deal - you get a DID thrown in and no monthly fee (if that offer is still going, you will have to check)
good call rates to mobiles
whirlpool
I have just setup voip for the first time gone with Engin as my mate has been with them for a few years. Good thing is they don't have a call centre based in India & you actaully can communicate with them

+1 for MNF, Pennytel are okay and cheap, it often depends on how much technical support you may need?
Pennytel value for money
We've been using World Dial Point for a few years without any problems. Frank has been good to deal with..
Have also used Faktortel without issue. Only reason for moving was their plans not suiting our call patterns..
Today many businesses have substituted their existing phone service with a Voice over Internet Protocol service because of its features like Reducing costs, Easy of management, Mobility and portability. This is for all ppl interested in voip services and for the longest time I am using T1 everywhere VoIP servicebecause they are so much cheaper than any other service, and this company has a good reputation in the market.
+1 for MNF.. Love their $4.95 a month 60 free calls to 30 countries+mobile+national landline calls.
I ended up chosing MyNetFone on the $0.00 Whirlpool Plan.

Anyone using Exetel's voip ?
I am thinking about churning to them, ADSL service includes a static IP and the standard no access fee VOIP plan including a free DID.
I have been using Exetel for 2 years without any probs. Warbo use to be a rep for them. He helped me withthe original config of the voip. Im sure it wasnt that hard, I'm just lazy Send him a PM
i have been with engin for about 5 years been great no hassles have just 3 mobiles on engin as well

I've been with MY Net Fone for approx 3 years & until recently all's been ok other than the odd hick up.
It started with a Mate of mine's new netgear router(I got him on to MNF) & my older model netgear router. I couldn't ph him on VOIP. Their tech support said there's a compatibility issue wait & they will send a fix. After 4 months a fix was put on their web site. That didn't work. Visiting "F" friend in SA recently & yes suggested MNF,then after hrs on the ph they refused to connect her. Problem being TELSTRA had her address the same as the exchange address which is different to the install address & MNF couldn't be bothered to fix the the issue. Optus did in one ph call. All MNF operations are OS & getting someone to comprehend what you saying is very difficult in my case impossible.
You can check out . I have been using their services for quite some time. It suits my small business requirement.
