Makes me smile. Supercheap seem to think that we are going to leave the race to attend their "Bathurst Day" sale? Hardly likely, given the fact that I would hardly leave the tv to go to the fridge on race day.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I am sure Supercheap will be smiling once the weekends over with what they managed to flog off, during the Race or not.
Part of this promotion is of course advertising the store they have set up on the Circuit to reach those attending the race.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
I rarely shop at Supercheap , they are more expensive than Ripco in some cases.
Pajero 4WD disc brake pads - $74.90 at Supercheap , $67 at Autopro. V6 Idler pulley - $107 at Supercheap , $71 at Autopro , $93 at Repco.
Yeah...I like Autopro. On the rare occasions I need a part these days, they KNOW what you need. And if they don't they just reach under the counter and pull out the full workshop manual and find out.
I needed an idler pulley for my daughters Commodore. There were several similar models, but they knew what was needed straight away.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
I must admit, my partners engine oil is $97 for 10litres at Autobarn, $137 at Supercheap, $147 at Repco last 2 times i shopped for it.
I always thought Supercheap explained some of utter crap they keep in stock.

Last weekend supercheap had a sale on Castrol edge 5-40 full synthetic.
Maximum 2 per customer at $34 each (or was it 36?) 5L containers, anyway ive got about 12 left over after my last weekends oil change.
Genuine Ford oil filters are $20 each retail, i walked into Ford and asked for a case of 10 filters and their best price, $65 of the lot or $6.50 each.
Its more a case of timing your purchase with a sale and stocking up or buying in bulk the things you use a lot........
