More than likely made in China and rebranded with an Aussie flavour name "CoolabaH" ........I was told all of barbeque Galores range are Chinese
I have spent ages trying to find out who makes the CoolabaH range of BBQs and can't seem to find it. I don't suppose anyone here knows.
Several places sell them, they claim the usual warranty. If I can find a manufacturer website I can then find tech info or specs and list of parts, but I come up blank.
Aldi have a 6 burner on sale soon, I guess the same as the one they sold last year that sold like hot cakes in all stores. I wouldn't mind finding out more about them before laying out the cash.

I don't mind where in the world it's made if it can outlast my 10 year old bbq from kmart which was probably also made in china.
I can find decent info on all the other brands of bbq's, just not this brand.
I am also keeping a close eye on some of the Grayonline auctions for bbq's, but they quickly get past my price range. But some very nice looking units.
I bought my Chinese crap 4 burner barbie 15 years ago, last summer it finally failed, the regulator spring on the part that fits to the tank rusted out. (still managed to fix that too for another barbie.)
Point is it was never covered and sat outside in the wind and rain for all those years, no problem.
Happy to replace it with another $250 unit now, why bother spending big bucks when the cheap stuff still lasts years.

Bloody Image Shack playing tricks with me.
The above should be OK now.
I got a genuine 100% Aussie made Beefeater Signature series 5 burner running on natural gas from Hardly Normal 5 years ago. It's set in bricks.
Avoid imitations, pay for quality and avoid problems.
Reality is an invention of my imagination.
