Did my outlaws'laws the other day
The bottom grey door rubber is sticky to feel, gooey like, but all looks there.
Is what fixed her's
Help please,
Got one that leaks out the door as it fills.
Sucks out, does all that, but leaks.
I can't determine if it is a side rubber or the lower door rubber.
The bottom grey door rubber is sticky to feel, gooey like, but all looks there.
To check this seal, or replace, is it just a matter of removing the screws on the inner door to expose the whole thing?
The side seal at the very bottom, where it meets the bottom seal on the right side appears to have a little bit of the rubber missing, so unsure if it is the one piece side seal or the door seal at fault. How do you actually work out which one is the problem...sort of hard to determine when it has no water in it..
Anyone with knowledge able to assist this Neville dude here?

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
Did ya just have to undo the door screws to do it?
I don't repair Simpson dishwashers here (I avoid them!) but I do service the occasional F&P machine and any leaks around the door area are always to do with perished door seals.
When they start to feel all sticky and gooey then it's time to replace the lot.
viewer it was actually a bitch of a job the 1 st thing i did was slice my hand with the stainless steal sheet LOL
But yeah just dissembled the door and put a couple of phone books to support the plastic door and disconnected a few wires too
But it was all straight forward and it cost about $18 or $22 for the seal
