    Default any help to update maps on navman s30

    hi all, i am currently looking to assist in getting update maps to navman s30 with 08 maps,
    1...what map core does theses units run,
    2...has any one managed to update maps to current version without going to navman and paying through the nose for new maps

    any thoughts and assistance appreciated

    Apart from paying for new maps the only other option is to unlock it and use Tomtom, iGO, Destinator or Sygic.

    I agree : Navman maps are impossibe to crack so far ,you have to pay for new maps.
    I don't know if you can unlock your device ,but you can check .
    As the S30 is not listed you better ask them if it is supported.
    a Page of one of my friends ,if you can't find something suitable he might be able to help.
    Tomtom GO730 ,Navcore 9.004 ,Bootloader 5.5256 ,Map :Australia 845.2661
    ttmaps and Tomplayer on 16GB SDHC class6

    yes after many seconds looking in google , i found this site * navmanunlocked * as directed by downunder, again if u want to chance it unlock navman and use inbuilt ce5 core and try igo8 or simular, but beware navman brick turning chance

    The Navman unlock works well on the S30, just remember to do a backup on to your pc first.
    Miopocket () works well in conjunction with Tomtom.
