    I couldn't agree more.

The search button is there for a purpose, but I am certain that many people either don't think to use it, don't know how to use it effectively, or are simply too lazy to invest the time and effort. In other words, for many people, "it's all too hard".

Unfortunately, we live in what can be described as an "instant" society where people are bombarded with advertising to "get it now" ... and so they "want it now".
It is also a society in which generally, critical thinking is neither taught nor actively encouraged.

Just did a google and got 10 pages of hits. Your search reveals nothing. Sure you're connected to the net???
Yes you were after a hand, a handout. Five post now, your getting there. Become a premium member and I will give it to you. That will show you are contributing. Your call.

    Default Codan NGT Software

    Yikes....

Does the NGT software work with the 9323 or just the NGT.
    I'm guessing not.

As I understand it you need the Codan XP software for the 9323.

I have found a torrent for NGT, but none for XP. Theyre pretty inactive though.

Also, could you confirm the file size of the packages incase I end up looking at a missnamed file??

    Thanks.

Keith, do your research before making comments on how easy it is to get. V4.11 is near impossible..

When you search for the NSP software, yes you get 100 hits.... but have you opened them to find its all PDF's on the radio and links to torrents that dont work??

The way i got an early copy was to find a guy who could send me a CD.

I only use this forum to get what i need, so i wont be a premium member any time soon. there is nothing else on here that interests me, im not a geek or techno boffin, so i dont need to know about the latest computer chip with 1.8meggaflops of processing speed

I have in the past helped out 2 members wanting info on some radios and i got a thanks... i emailed one of them the software he needed and he was very thankfull. Seems the 8030 people are dissapearing.. Like the Z80 did many years ago..

Link to the early software that i'm seeding after making a torrent is here

Ohh look it was uploaded by me...... seems some of us do make contributions and not just slag others off.....

Instead of all this carry on , why doesnt someone simply upload it via that big Megaupload box that is staring at you in quick reply ? Then all people will have to do is download it without all the hoo haa. A lot of people are not interested in having torrents infest their computers.

    So to sum up :

    1. Someone upload it the way I have suggested.

    2. Everyone download it without all the song and dance.

I am not even sure of Admins stanceon torrent links , they may not even be allowed so dont be surprised if they are removed.

I agree completely with these sentiments.

I have just checked out of interest and there is nobody seeding at present.

Torrents are a pain in the backside for several reasons.

The file appears to be only 15MB so use Megaupload - that's what it's there for.

Thankyou for seeding the torrent Steve and thanks to Keith for supplying it originally.
Now I can replace it as I lost my copy in a hdd crash.

As mentioned I have experince through working with our encrypteed ale network at work but it is all a little different. However if i can share some experince id be more than happy to do so. cheers and keep transmitting

For those wanting this again, I'm about to seed it again

I now need to source a cable. I always leave things to the last minute before an outback trip.

Anyone got a file they can share that has all the required freqs for RFDS and radio freqs?

Although posted over a year ago I do have to agree that torrents are a pain. Direct uploading to the file box is by far the best.

    Default Codan NGT software

Thanks Steve for the offer of seeding this again, it would be good. I have been collating some of the info for the RFDS freqs as well as various others to redo the eprom in my 8528. I would like to upgrade to an NGT for the 4WD if one comes along at the right price.

What format do you need the data in ? I also am including a fairly extensive
"chanellized" band plan for the HF ham bands to make the operation of the Codan easier whilst driving
    Common sense isn't !!!
