plug in a usb stck and make it the storage area , i dont remember the exact method as it has been a while but seeing your using pli have a look at the wiki
would someone care to explain this in a nutshell, it seems the root of a number of my problems I encounter on my DM7020 using PLi Jade come down to my /var being full, such as:
- EPG not behaving
- after scanning for new channels I get a services full message.
- unable to update OzTIVO config.
so am I correct though my HDD, USB and swap file are anywhere near full, there's built in memory that /var uses to do stuff? Is there any way to enlarge this? Where does it show on a DM7020 what the size is left?
Another reason I suspect it might be this is I uninstalled a few plugins and these problems starting going away.
TIA

goto telnet and type
df -h
that will tell you how much free space is on each partition.

usb stick or cf card is good to offload your epg and oztivo etc
