DM500 Read-only file system

I'm having a problem with my DM500

After flashing, I attempt to load a satellites.xml file via ftp but the 500 reports a read-only file system. I've tried chmod and chown on the file and directories to no avail. How can I fix this?

Images tried: PLi Jade, Nabilosat 0.8 & Darkstar
Loaders: DCC, Dreamup, Flashwizard

use dreamset to edit and upload the settings for the sats.xml
