    Default TomTom GO730 Inquiry.

Hey guys I just bought my self a TomTom GO730 GPS, I managed to get it from Office works for $436 as they had to beat Ryda.com.au price by 5%, but when it came to buying extended warranty they want $87.20 for 2 extra years, now my question is, has any had any problems with tomtom units? would it be worth it to get the warranty or not really?

the only model that had a problem was the 910 as they had a 20 gig hard drive which often played up i have a 920 and several friends have 720 730 and 930 and none of us have had any problems at all i have had my 920 for 18 months now without a problem so as for extra warranty i would not pay that kind of money for it if you going to have a problem 9 times out of 10 it will happen shortly after purchase
IF IT DONT WORK USE A BIGGER HAMMER

$87.20 is a lot of money, but the thing is the extra 2 years cover is replacement warranty, anything happens, they'll just give me an other one, it's tempting.LOL
