    Default Flashwizard Multiboot Advice

My Jade image at the moment is a real dog, so i'm going to reimage it.

I thought at this stage it wouldn't such a bad idea to get multiboot running using Flashwizard.

    So:

If I flash erase, can I then just get FlashWizard to multiboot?

Am I best to do it to a HDD or USB? I tried USB the other day with zero success.

Part of the reason I want to run multiboot is to see if I can get my Irdeto cam working under another image (as advised by cwispy)

I had a tip sheet on flashwizard, but it only seemed to cover the non-multiboot side of it

    should work with a usb ( the unit is a 7020 ??)

make sure once your log into the unit with flash wizard that ask it to recheck the hdd/usbcf card etc so it re reads it to make sure they are there.

then i always get flashwizard to do the format (i use a cf card ) then when you install the extra images make sure you tell it where to install.

on reboot it will pop up the flash wizard and have the other images listed to select from

lol. I find that the image gets a bit fickle after a while, random restarts, commands not doing what they should, settings not holding.

so yes, it is running like a dog. But I do like PLi when it works.

got it working just fine with a fresh install, have the base Dream Multimedia image running as default, then Jade2 running off the USB.
