    Default Panasonic Service manual needed

I need a service manual for a Panasonic RX-ES29 portable stereo unit.

Primarily I need the part of the schematic that shows the remote control receiver and detail back to the pre-amp IC etc if it has one then on to the micro.

Yep, ordinarily I'd say "toss it".

However, this one is brand new, just out of the box. I bought it from the UK as they don't sell this model here [never saw any on Ebay Aussie either].

The remote doesn't work. The seller assures me it was working when they shipped it.
I've checked the handpiece and it's transmitting Ok.

I'm guessing the fault is in the machine. It's not worth packing it up and sending it back (the shipping is hideous!) so I may as well have a go at getting it to work.

Thanks FB for your input here - may the gods of Karma smile upon you!

studio it'll be the reference resonator in the remote, it looks like an small MKT cap, try change it first, just because the IR leds flashing means nothin, chnage it with one the right frequency and that should fix it!
When I explained to the guy what avatar I wanted, that wasn't what I meant!

Yes, good point there... I really would SUSPECT the handpiece before I suspected the set itself.
Will follow it up and post back.

    Thanks
