@AntyBoy1979!
Hi, I'd like to convert the maps for use on MaxSea PC, but do not know which software to do the job, i wonder if you could give me a tip about the best software for this programs.
Thanks in advance.
@laogia
From what I can see, MaxSea uses .mm3D files which are vector based.
I've had success converting vector maps to raster maps but haven't the foggiest idea about creating vector maps or converting a raster map to a vector map.

Hi All,
Apologies for digging up an old thread - but given the megaupload situation these days the links for Westen Port maps are no longer available. Is someone able to upload the ECW files for Western Port & Port Phillip Bay please?
Thanks in advance.
The map is updated as you have seen in the other thread, so I'm not uploading this old version again.

I cant help with the upload, but this is what i use on my phone for fishing maps. It's worth the $14.
Latest Navionics with fully customisable maps (online downloadable) available as a free download for Android if you search
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
From my own creations: - generated from Garmin Bluecharts.
Same in in case you need it for other programs than OZI.
The maps not only took ages to create but are tested by myself and confirmed to bring you home at night or in fog (had to both over the times ).
Accuracy should be pretty much spot on and detail level is maxed out whereever possible.
By the way: the Navionics charts are neither better nor more detailed imho.
Please keep in mind that there are no official digital nautical maps availavle for the port!
Only the big high end system offer the rea deal so to say.
Does not matter if you use Garmin, my maps, Navionics or any other product - they are to be considered to be a guide only!
If you know the area around Geelong you might also know the sand banks, they were tested on the maps as well and in some areas the actual depth was much less than specified on the official charts.
Having said that : enjoy my maps and if someone needs I also have a high detailed map of Port Phillip and Western Port for Ozi, but it is a bit over 11GB......
